This is an exciting opportunity to develop the licensing offer for the Henry Moore Foundation and elevate our retail presence across two distinguished sites: Henry Moore Studios & Gardens, Hertfordshire and Henry Moore Institute, Leeds, alongside an online platform.
The Henry Moore Foundation, established by one of the greatest sculptors of the twentieth century, boasts a rich collection of over 20,000 objects, encompassing more than a million cultural assets from sculptures to drawings to photographs from which to draw inspiration.
We are seeking a creative, commercially driven professional to help shape the vision and strategy of our licensing and retail offer and then to implement this plan across our sites and online, delivering an inspiring customer experience and generating revenue.
Our ideal candidate will have experience in developing and bringing innovative licensing opportunities to successful fruition; or they will offer transferable skills from a sales/commercial/retail background, including researching leads, developing opportunities and enjoying closing deals. A good knowledge of the mechanics of retail management is required, as well as an eye for detail and keen understanding of retail trends and customer motivations. Excellent communication, negotiation and project management skills are essential for this role, along with a creative flair and an understanding of the sensitivities surrounding a personal brand.
