Jackson Hogg is supporting a rapidly growing pharmaceutical company based in Newcastle and looking for a Logistics Coordinator to join a small and dynamic team overseeing the entire logistics and supply chain.

This Logistics Coordinator will be a vital part of the team focused on the storage, transportation on-time delivery and efficient flow of goods. This is an intricate role, dealing with multiple stakeholders both internal and external.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop the logistics strategy including transport, warehouse and distribution using third-party suppliers
• Manage relationships with carriers and team members to coordinate inbound and outbound goods flow
• Oversee inventory management and accurately record stock levels for suppliers
• Develop strategies to reduce cost and improve efficiency
• Any other reasonable duties

Key Behaviours:

• Excellent communication skills in dealing with a range of stakeholders
• An awareness of the Falsified Medicines Directive (FMD)
• Strong team work ethic with the ability to plan your day and own workload
• Experience of a minimum of 3 years in a logistics environment
• A full clean driving license is required
