About the Job:

Responsible for delivering the smooth and efficient running of all maintenance of the London Transport Museum including displays, audio visual, presentation, lecture, buildings and ICT systems, equipment and facilities services.

Key Information:• Day Pay Rate: £107.64 PAYE or £135.41 Umbrella

• Hours: Full time 40 hours per week, Mon-Sun shift work

• Contract Length: 6 months (View to extend)

• Location: Covent Garden – London Transport Museum

• Start Date: ASAP

• Client: Transport for London

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of Museum premises at Covent Garden ensuring it meets the needs of staff, public, and contractors within SLAs, including out-of-hours and event work.
• Daily activation of displays, prompt repair/reporting of faults, preparation of AV equipment for lectures/presentations.
• Respond to Facilities and ICT Helpdesk requests
• Ensure building systems function correctly, perform servicing and minor repairs within certification, or engage specialist contractors; provide handyman services to Head of Contracts and Facilities.
• Provide first-line ICT support for public-facing services in the absence of ICT staff, assist in the setup and maintenance of ICT systems, including cabling.

Skills, Experience and Knowledge

• Experience within maintenance work e.g. fixing leaks, basic electrician tasks, general building maintenance
• Audio/visual or IT Support experience e.g. fixing projectors and computer for presentation
