Reporting to the lead, you will be responsible for sub and final assembly tasks along with acceptance testing.

This role will require the ability to change from days to a two shift pattern as & when required.

You will be working in a precision assembly or mechanical fitting environment.

In your first few weeks in this Mechanical Assembly Operative/Technician role, you can expect to:

• Clean up components before the assembly process
• Assemble components in line with technical drawings and specifications
• Rework and fit components before final assembly
• Check end float and measure backlash
• Calculate shim sizes using mathematical formulas

• A team-working ethic with the drive and flexibility to maintain pace of work as priorities and requirements change

• High level of conscientiousness
• Familiarity with IT basics, Microsoft office and operating system
