Multi-skilled Engineer M&E Permanent Cambridgeshire

A well-established & reputable mechanical and electrical contractor are looking for a Multi-skilled Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a great opportunity to join a great specialist small works team that offer stability and progression.

Multi-skilled Engineer Responsibilities

• Carry out Reactive and emergency breakdown tasks and complete the associated paperwork.
• Carry out Planned preventative maintenance duties.
• Carry out remedial works.
• Be on a call out rota to provide the client with full out of hours cover.
• React quickly to breakdowns, communicate clearly with affected parties, and work efficiently to fix the issue.
• Be willing to adapt and assist in all aspects of M&E Maintenance and HVAC systems.
• Assisting sub-contractors
• Adopt a flexible attitude in relation to assisting on other properties or disciplines.
• Carry out all duties in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Understand and complete all work-related documentation accurately and on time.
• Carry out work in a safe and diligent manner.
• Comply with all Health and Safety policies and procedures.

Multi-skilled Engineer Requirements

• Experience of M&E Maintenance, repairs, Breakdowns, and installations
• Served an apprenticeship and/or qualified to NVQ level 3 or equivalent in M&E
• Multi skilled in both electrical and mechanical disciplines.
• Experience of planned preventative maintenance systems.
• Experience fault finding
• Experience in both mechanical and electrical and Plumbing
• HVAC
• Fully qualified Electrician
• 17th Edition or 18th edition
• HVAC Experience
• Mechanical / Plumbing / Electrical Plant room experience
• Testing and Inspection (Desirable)
• Experience working within commercial environments.
• Excellent communication skills
• Driving License

Multi-skilled Engineer Package

• Basic salary £30,000 – £40,000 dependant on experience (OTE £37,800 – £47,800)
• 37.5 hours a week (anything over this is paid at 1.5X)
• Van & Fuel Card Included
• Travel paid.
