Occupational Health Advisor – £40 per hour inside ir35 (overtime with uplift available) – Stevenage – Fully onsite (free parking provided) – 12 months (extension likely) – 1 stage interview – Sector: Aerospace/Health

Yolk Recruitment are recruiting for an Occupational Health Advisor to work with a global leader in aerospace technology and space exploration.

This is an exciting opportunity to join an occupational health team working within cutting edge industry building technology that will rapidly advance space exploration.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate health surveillance programme; including independently performing the assessments, analysing the results and appropriate feedback to managers ie, Spirometry, Audiometry, skin assessments and biological monitoring.
• Make recommendations with regards any necessary workplace modifications eg, posture and/or work environment and display screen assessments.
• Work collaboratively with the Senior Occupational Health Advisor in the promotion of procedures and standards and ensuring evidence-based practice is implemented.
• Perform fitness for task assessments eg, forklift truck, working at height, travel health.
• Make sure referrals are progressed in a prompt and efficient manner.

Core Skills:

• Specialist Community Public Health Nurse – Occupational Health on Part 3 of the Nursing and Midwifery Council register.
• Degree/Diploma/Certificate in Occupational health.
• Experience of independently carrying out health surveillance ie, Spirometry, Audiometry, skin surveillance and venepuncture.

• Experience of delivering presentations
