£35k – £40k DOE

My client is looking for an Ocean Freight Pricing Operator to join their team! If you have previous experience as an Ocean Freight Pricing Operator , and are looking to join a reputable company, then LOOK NO FURTHER!

To coincide with our growth and development plans for 2024 and beyond we now seek to appoint a newOcean Freight Pricing Operator to our growing team.

The Role:

To provide, pricing, quotations and negotiate rates for ocean freight consignments, liaising with customers, shipping lines and over seas agents, negotiating rates, and spot quotations with high levels of customer service at all levels.

Required Experience:

• Minimum 3 years experience in ocean quotes
• Knowledge of LCL and FCL services essential as well as CNS, Destin8 and Sequoia (or similar)
• Experience of working in a busy, office environment – Very hands-on role
• Proficient with standard software packages, especially MSWord, Excel and Outlook
• Used to working as part of a team
• Good people management skills
• Great customer service & communication skills
• Experience with import or export operations
