Our client is proud to be one of the UK’s leading funeral plan providers, working with over 3000 independent funeral directors all over the country. Their plans allow customers the opportunity to pre-arrange their funeral and everything that goes with it – saving their family the worry and expense, taking a weight off their mind when the time comes.
They have supported numerous QA apprentices over the years. You will be joining a team that contains 3 ex-apprentices who will be there to support you on your journey.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure payments to funeral directors are paid on time and accurately
- Liaise with customers and funeral directors through inbound calls and emails
- Provide and process Funeral Director Invoice Amounts (FDIA) and provide plan quotes
- Process payments and direct debit mandates
- Input information received via Customer Wishes forms into the Anubis system
- Gather details of defective plans from system and pass to sales channels
- Reconciliation of physical plan applications against Microsoft Excel spreadsheet
- Scan application forms into Invu system and capture key information
- Open and distribute all mail and organise Head Office mail
Required skills:
- Minimum of National 5 English and Mathematics at C or above
- Knowledge of Microsoft packages including Excel, Word and Outlook
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with sharp attention to detail
- A confident and professional individual
- An enthusiastic, can-do attitude with the desire to succeed
- Excellent organisational skills
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
Salary:
£14,000 per annum
Working hours:
35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm

On completion, as well as the valuable work experience you have gained, you get a nationally recognised qualification at SCQF Level 6.
