Role: Senior Operations Manager

Client: Monster Energy

Salary: £60,000 – £65,000, 10% car allowance, 15% bonus

Hybrid: 2 days in office

Reporting into the EMEA Operations Projects Director, the individual will ensure supply chain performance is efficient and effective and build strong relationships within the supply network.

Responsibilities:

Project Delivery – Deliver the project on time, in full

• Responsible for delivery of new capacity or capability from ideation to execution
• Responsible for ensuring an efficient and effective supply chain design for both physical and system flow
• Awareness and understanding of the monster stage and gate process (including NDA, feasibility, contract development, execution).
• Create, update, and share operational status report for stakeholders
• Escalate risk and issues that may impact delivery of project activity
• Manage change control of scope and timing with End 2 End PM & Ops execution manager
• Develop and deploy the operational framework to sustain the project delivery
• Complete project review to ensure all outstanding issues are captured, owned and where possible resolved
• Support all new product introductions within specified territories with specific focus on the physical flow and system transaction requirements

Leadership – Grow capability or capacity

• Lead the new capacity or capability projects within respective regions or markets
• Understand and share local market knowledge to the 3yr long range growth plan for monster full goods model and kits
• Coordinate the development of the operational business case, with options and viable recommendation
• Bring the outside market/s knowledge within operations to ensure they are performing efficiently and effectively
• Manage issues within your market/s to maximise benefit for monster energy, ensuring wider operational team ownership where applicable

Great collaboration – Partner our stakeholders both internally and external to deliver the optimal outcome

• Engage and contribute to the network design and review process
• Collaborate with the operational project team to ensure manufacturing extensions, new supplier, etc are optimally planned
• Inspire our stakeholders, suppliers and partners to enable our growth plan
• Hold ourselves and others to account to delivery on time, in full

Continuous Improvement – Make the future more efficient and effective

• Propose supply chain opportunities to make the future more efficient and effective
• Focus on preventative and corrective actions to avoid re-occurrence and sustain the change within the operational team
• Develop effective processes to ensure we continually improve sustained service and optimised cost
• Identify, develop and ensure operational teams trained and capable when establishing a new way of working

Requirements:

• Thorough understanding of the beverage industry and its unique features and challenges.
• Understand special challenges presented by a complex supply chain in a dynamic organization, coupled with the ability to direct, motivate, and develop peers and the project team in that type of environment.
• Understanding of logistics techniques and strategies and their applications toward minimizing delivered cost.
• Possession of superior analytical and organizational skills.
