Operations Technician

Location: Poole (On-Site)

Package: Salary Negotiable, Monthly Bonus + Benefits

As part of their ongoing commitment to looking after their clients and team they are looking to appoint an Operations Technician to join the business.

This position will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of operational processes, supporting various departments within the organisation, and the successful candidate will contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of day-to-day operations.

The day to day:

• Handle low level user IT issues, such as password resets, to enable the operation team to run smoothly
• Escalate more complex issues to our IT Managed Service supplier, and be liaison between them and the business.
• Maintain and update client and policy information in the company’s database.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all operations-related systems.
• Prepare and maintain operational documentation and reports
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies
• Provide support to clients, suppliers and internal stakeholders regarding operational queries
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency
• Work with cross-functional teams to implement changes and enhancements
• Collaborate with various departments, including sales, service, digital and binders and schemes, to streamline operations.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive working environment.

About you:

• Experience within an IT function, and strong Excel skills
• You’ll have initial insurance experience, or a strong background in customer service
• Previous experience with Acturis is highly beneficial
