Pipe Tracking Operator Part Time

The Pipe Tracking Operator is responsible for the maintenance of pipe tracking information and traceability of pipes. This includes covering all of the phases
of the pipe journey from start to finish including the log of quarantined / pipes on hold. The Pipe Tracking Operator is to be utilised to ensure that records are maintained to a high standard. Focusing all responsibility on one sole person rather than multiple employees minimising the risk of human error. There is to be a good relationship established between the Pipe Tracking Operator and the Senior QC Engineer to ensure that correct extraction of data is given to ensure that client reports are
correct and up to date with valid information.

Duties / Tasks

• To work effectively as part of a team to ensure that the tally of pipes is always correct and reported accordingly.
• Liaise with the Senior QC Engineer on a daily basis to ensure that there is correct extraction of data sent for client reports.
• Follow tasks set by the Senior QC Engineer this may include reporting of any accidents, near misses or production issues that may arise during the working hours that specifically that may affect the tally operation.
• Extract correct information from the PCMS system and create Tally reports to a high standard as defined by each Project. (Report specifics will be given prior to each Project beginning)
• Responsible for entering Tally data into the PCMS system and generating reports for Load In / Load Out.
• Work closely with the QC department in order to clear quarantined / on hold pipes within a timely manner. Vice versa ensuring that if a quarantined / on hold QC are notified of this immediately.

• Good / knowledgable skills using Microsoft Excel
• High attention to detail

Desirable

• Qualification in Microsoft of similar
• Knowledge of using a material tracking system
• Experience within similar role preferably within heavy industrial industry
• IOSH working safely.
