Post-16 Participation and Adult Learning Manager
We have a fantastic opportunity available for a Post-16 Participation and Adult Learning Manager to join our friendly team in Children’s Services
As Post-16 Participation and Adult Learning Manager you will lead the teams and partners to ensure a range of suitable education, apprenticeship and training are available to meet post-16 cohort and adult learners in line with statutory, requirements, functions, and standards.
This role is the key local authority post-16 system link, to ensure effective working links in partnership with education, apprenticeship and training provider including sixth-from and further education colleges. It is a key element of the role to work towards a low NEET rate, in particular of those who have care-experience or with a SEND background.
You will play an integral role in contributing to the Council’s ambition and vision for Wokingham to be ‘a great place to live’ by helping to reduce crime, the fear of crime and contribute to the learning opportunities especially for deprived communities.
