The Role

Leading Top 50 UK are seeking a Privacy/ Cyber Partner to join their Leeds Office.

This is a truly unique Cyber & Privacy proposition for an experienced individual to spearhead the next phase of growth for this impressive outfit.

There is already a strong platform provided by the national Cyber Group but this leadership position comes with full autonomy, and the opportunity to put your mark on the role; essentially leading a very exciting and well invested area for the practice.

They are still in their youth as a Group (2017 Launch), but already competing against Top 20 UK Law Firms, and the Big 4, which is quite an achievement.

Autonomy and support is guaranteed through their structure; they operate as a specialist boutique offering, with the full backing of a Top 50 UK practice.

This Group consists of high profile Lawyers, and Cyber Tech (Non-Lawyer) specialists meaning they can provide clients with a “one stop” shop.

We are keen to speak with an experienced individual, keen to lead the team focused on:

  • Cyber Security Strategies
  • Crisis Management
  • Major Incident Response
  • Data Breaches

You will be responsible for undertaking a true leadership role, overseeing the development of the Cyber Group. This means a mix of team management, business development, networking & marketing, delegating and leading on Fee Earning – especially more complex matters.

This is a prioritised team, offering all the resources and investment for you to forge your career & further develop your practice at a leading Top 50 UK firm.

You Will Be:

  • A Cyber/ Privacy/ Data Protection LD/ Partner with 8 PQE +
  • (We are keen to have conversations with individuals outside of this PQE scale also)
  • Proven experience from a leading Regional, National or City Practice
  • Open to those looking to relocate from within the UK
