Work Schedule: The position requires 12 hours of work per week, spread over 4 days. Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays are fixed days, with the fourth day to be mutually agreed upon.

Salary: £300 per week

About Us: We seek a private chef for a family based in the heart of Salford, M30, in search of an experienced and dedicated Private Chef who has a specialty in Gujarati and Indian cuisine. The ideal candidate will have the ability to prepare a variety of traditional and modern dishes for a family of three.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and prepare daily meals focusing on Gujarati and Indian cuisine for a family of three, considering their preferences and nutritional needs.
• Collaborate with the family to plan weekly menus that offer variety and cater to any dietary restrictions.
• Perform grocery shopping to ensure the kitchen is stocked with necessary ingredients, emphasizing freshness and quality.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to hygiene and food safety standards.
• Manage food inventory and kitchen supplies, minimizing waste and efficiently utilizing resources.
• Stay current with culinary trends within Gujarati and Indian cuisines to introduce innovative and exciting dishes.
• Adjust menus and food preparation for any special occasions or events as requested by the family.

Requirements:

• Proven culinary experience with a focus on Gujarati and Indian cuisines.
• Formal culinary training or equivalent experience is preferred.
• A deep understanding of the ingredients, techniques, and dishes unique to Gujarati and Indian cooking.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to work flexibly according to the family’s schedule.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with the family to meet their dining preferences.
