IT Procurement Manager

We are working with a prestigious organisation based in Gateshead who in the East requiring the support of an interim IT Procurement Manager for a 10/12 month period initially. This role has the potential to be extended.

The client is looking for an experienced procurement manager who has extensive knowledge procurement regulation and practice particularly in the field of IT.

Duration: 10/12 months initially possible extension

Hours: 37 hours per week

Hybrid working – 2-3 days on site

Responsibilities:

• Manage the Procurement and IT Team, having responsibility for a range of procurements valued over 100,000
• Will be responsible for delivering compliant procurements which achieve value for money and high quality outcomes
• Plan and deliver effective procurement processes
• Acting as subject matter experts, work proactively with service areas to ensure that procurement documentation and processes are fit for purpose
• Prepare appropriate and quality procurement documentation
• Develop processes within the e tendering system and use that system (and any other relevant systems) efficiently and effectively in delivering the role.
