As a Programme Manager, you will work with organisations large and small innovators, academia, policy-makers and government departments to deliver projects that will help shape and accelerate future industries.
Responsibilities as a Programme Manager, will be to:
- Manage engineering activities in projects
- Create and manage project timing and action plans related to engineering activities
- Work with internal and external partners to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions through strong leadership and management
- Report progress on engineering activities and highlight any issues that may prevent the delivery of projects on time
- Make recommendations during the programme to ensure that timing plans, gateways and budgets are delivered against within a highly innovative arena
The Programme Manager will require the following skills and experience:
- Posses a formal qualification ideally Prince2 and/or Agile
- Have a track record in managing and delivering multiple projects, ideally within an engineering and technical arena
- Be hands on and practical, being able to deal with project slippage and technical concerns during each phase of the programme to ensure successful delivery
- Well organisation with strong planning and co-ordination skills to effectively manage timing and project plans
- Have excellent communication skills, dealing with internal and external stakeholders to manage expectations
