A Hertfordshire property management company is in need of an experienced Property Manager to join their small team, managing a portfolio of 100 + tenants.
You will need to be organised and efficient, able to multitask and follow a job through from start to finish. Due to the structure of the team and the required responsiveness of this role, you are expected to be in the Hitchin office so this role would not suit someone who prefers to work at home, or on their own.
You will be part of a close-knit team who rely on each other, so we are looking for someone who has experience working in a small team environment with excellent communication skills and who is comfortable collaborating with others. You should be willing to support the team in areas outside of your core role and have a positive ‘can do’ attitude.

Required experience:
You should be skilled in conflict resolution and negotiation, and able to anticipate potential issues and find a resolution before the issues arises. You should be able to differentiate the needs of our many tenants and adjust your service to reflect their needs.
We are looking for an experienced property manager with full knowledge of all aspects of property management. This is a varied role and requires both technical knowledge of the legislation surrounding property management and practical knowledge of managing a flat.
As part of a small team, you will get to see all sides of property management and be responsible for all its elements, both to the tenant and to the landlord. There is no other person to delegate the responsibility to! The ideal candidate will relish the responsibility and challenge this creates.
You will report directly to the Landlord and will be relied upon to ensure the properties are compliant and the Landlord is aware of any upcoming issue and significant cost that may arise from them.

For this position you are expected to have use and access to a car, a full UK driving licence and able to drive to properties.
