Job title: Property Manager based in Edgware
Salary: £28,000 – £32,000 per annum basic – DOE
Primary responsibilities include:
This role is to support the Lettings Division in all aspects, but not limited to:
- Provide property management and tenancy support services to landlords and
- Ensure that all properties comply with current legislation (EPC’s, Gas Safety Certificates, EICR, PAT testing etc)
- Arrange inventories and check ins with inventory clerk and inspections
- Liaise with contractors/outsourcing resources to ensure repair/maintenance works are carried out to a satisfactory standard
- Ensure routine and additional property visits/checks are carried out in the required time trace and report findings
- Draw up a schedule of costs based on checkout
- Mediate and negotiate between the parties regarding the release of the deposit
- Ensure that relevant payments are instructed promptly and properly regarding contractors, deposits and landlord
- Full utilisation of the Alto system
Key requirements
- Previous experience in a similar role essential
- Be IT literate with experience of using a web-based case management
- Candidates will need to be able to demonstrate that they can work on their own initiative without day-to-day supervision and will need organisational and diary skills to be able to repeat defined activities on a regular basis to communicate with clients and tenants
