We are looking for experienced and ambitious PSV Mechanics to join Arriva, based at our Hemel Hempstead Depot , a comprehensive commercial workshop with a great team ethos.
You will be a part of an established team maintaining over 60 buses and coaches, running a modern fleet up to Euro 6 specification including Mercedes models. Our Hemel Hempstead Depot operates 5 bays and houses generous tooling and specialist equipment. We also provide full on-site facilities including a Pool room and a Hot Canteen.
As a PSV Mechanic, your role would involve carrying out planned and preventative maintenance along with diagnostic fault finding and reactive repairs to a fleet of commercially operated buses, to the strict standards set by both Arriva, and the DVSA.

The role will involve:
Servicing, maintenance and repairs to Arriva and DVSA standards
Continuous improvement of vehicle reliability
MOT preparation, planned preventative maintenance campaigns and quality checks
Vehicle fault diagnosis and ensuring reliability and maintenance is kept to Arriva Standards (Higher than DVSA)

Requirements:
Qualifications: HGV/PSV maintenance and repair – Minimum of NVQ level 3 or any equivalent qualification (will require confirmation)
A full UK driving licence (6 points or less)
Ability to be passed fit for a pre-employment medical
