The Role

As a Recoveries Collector you will be responsible for the recovery of terminated agreements with a balance of less than £5,000. You will liaise with the customer/partner, outsourcing outstanding debt to a debt collection agency where applicable. You will also be responsible for maintaining and managing debt collection agency agreements and responding to related queries or actions.

You will also:

• Be responsible for the collection of terminated agreements which have been identified as having RP due on the policies.
• Responsible for working through on a day-to-day basis those agreements where customers have cancelled their Direct Debits and collecting overdue payments, whilst ensuring the DD is reinstated appropriately.
• Ensuring complaint forms are duly completed and sent to the appropriate department on completion
• Assisting with chase up calls/emails for the PMG product pre outsource to debt collection agency

To be considered as Recoveries Officer, you will need:

• Demonstrates the competencies for the role.
• Operated in a high volume, customer focused, result orientated environment with previous experience of Finance and/or Insurance.?
• Excellent communication skills (both written & verbal), be self-motivated, business aware, able to work under pressure and able to organise & prioritise own & team s workload without supervision.?
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
