Your new company
Hays Technology are recruiting a Reporting Analyst Developer to join a growing public sector organisation in the Leeds area. You will be part of the Management Information Systems Team and reporting to the MIS Project Manager.

Your new role
In your new role, you will be leading on ensuring accurate, relevant, timely, and accessible data reports are produced, whilst ensuring the dashboards for the organisation are user friendly and fit for purpose. You will be helping with the full implementation of a new system through from phase 1 to the end project date.

You will also be responsible for the development of reports and dashboards using reporting tools such as SSRS and Power BI, whilst supporting with the implementation of the new student record system and link to existing MI systems. You will be working with other stakeholders within the organisation to automate manual processes to aid accuracy and reliability of MIS Data.

What you’ll need to succeed

  • Experience of working in an MIS environment
  • Significant experience of producing, interpreting, and working with complex data sets
  • Substantial experience of using Microsoft SQL, MS reporting services, and Power BI
  • Experience of a higher education or public sector background would be advantageous, but not essential
  • Effective communication, interpersonal skills, resilience, and flexibility to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

What you’ll get in return
