This isn’t a sales role where you’re simply processing orders. You’ll be a key point of contact for customers, understanding what they need, finding the right solutions and spotting opportunities to grow the business. Location: Based onsite Monday to Friday in Woodston, the role is commutable from Peterborough, Orton, Fletton, Hampton, Yaxley, Whittlesey, Wittering, Market Deeping, Oundle, Stamford and surrounding areas.

Salary: Up to £30,000 with OTE of £38,000 per annum

Benefits: Monthly bonus, quarterly profit-related bonus, healthcare package and free onsite parking.

The role:

• Managing and developing relationships with existing customers, while also building connections with new and prospective clients.
• Handling incoming enquiries and advising customers on products, pricing, lead times and stock availability.
• Preparing accurate quotations and assisting with bespoke customer requirements and proposals.
• Following up sales opportunities, negotiating orders and contributing to continued business growth within a specialist environment.

What we’re looking for:

• Previous experience in internal sales, sales support or another customer-facing position; experience within technical, engineering or manufacturing environments would be advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate quotations and supporting documentation.
• Good IT skills and experience with Sage 200 would be useful, although full training will be provided.
• A proactive, positive, organised approach with the enthusiasm to learn new products and build technical knowledge.
