Sales Manager Luxury London Up to 45,000 Bonus

The Client: A luxury fragrance brand steeped in heritage, is looking to hire a sales and business development manager to develop markets, both in the UK and internationally.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in the heart of central London, in one of the most famous hotspots for luxury retail stores.

The Opportunity: The brand already has a foothold in Europe, Asia and America with a mixture of distributors and independents, however there is a huge opportunity to grow these markets. You will support in the management of existing key accounts as well as identifying new opportunities.

Role Responsibilities

Sales

• Support the HOD to prepare department budgets for the territory, manage and monitor to achieve.
• Manage existing customers to maximize sell in and sell through
• Seek new business opportunities within the territory, onboarding brand right distributors and independent partners
• Ensure Global product launch and marketing plans are executed in accordance with plan directives and our brand guidelines
• Provide a customer service that represent the brand and delivers at the highest level
• Liaise with Customer Services to manage expectation on order fulfilment
• Liaising with Despatch and working to defined monthly cut off dates
• Provide customer training with product and brand support
• Ensuring WM represents the brands values
• Managing and reviewing customer status on an annual basis, or earlier if required
• Working with your HOD to identify and prepare strategy plans for opening new customer accounts in order to continually evolve the territory
• With the support of your HOD work with the Marketing and NPD departments to identify new product requirements and promotional opportunities and needs of your customer base.

Reporting

• Prepare a monthly report for your HOD detailing revenue actuals against budgets, activities, challenges and the potential risks and opportunities for the territory
• Prepare a quarterly report for your HOD on the territory, and customers within, that are not performing and actions to remedy, along with initiatives and opportunities to promote sales.
• Report quarterly on stock forecasts, identifying over and under provisions and possible remedies

Other Duties

• Travel is a requirement of the position through attending trade shows, customer visits or meetings, so flexibility is expected in order to meet the needs of the business.
• Liaise with other departments within the company to ensure appropriate communications are maintained.
• To carry out any other duties that are reasonably requested
• Driving is an essential part of the role which means a clean driving license is required.
