Job Title: Section Lead
_This role would suit anybody that has experience as an Early Years Teacher, Senior Educator, Room Lead, Early Years Practitioner, Nursery Teacher, Apprentice Educator, Nursery Educator or Nursery Assistant._
Qualifications:
Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification (or other full and relevant Early Years qualification)
Previous experience leading a room/team in a nursery or childcare setting
Knowledge of child development theories and practices
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children
Knowledge of relevant regulations and legislation governing childcare (e.g., Safeguarding)

Duties:
Responsible for the daily running of a section of the Nursery, including the care and wellbeing of the children and the delivery of an effective curriculum
Supervising and support the daily setting up of the rooms and outside, to provide safety, and an effective learning environment for all the children.
To work with the Manager(s) to ensure that staff ratios are maintained and there is effective staff deployment, supervision, mentoring and recognition of training needs for all staff and apprentices.
Provide high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5
Create a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
Observe and assess children’s development, identifying any areas of concern
Collaborate with parents and other staff members to support children’s individual needs
Maintain accurate records of children’s progress and development
Ensure the nursery is clean, organized, and well-maintained at all times
Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure the well-being of all children
