My client and IT Managed Services provider is looking for a senior cyber security consultant who can become the lead in their existing team on all things “cyber security” for their customers. You will provide support and direction to an existing cyber security consultancy team and work closely with customers to understand and qualify what their challenges are and the cyber security solutions designed. You will have experience and success in developing high quality client proposals, lead on workshops with customers around new products and services available to enhance service offerings.
70% of the role will be working on presales customer focused opportunities and 30% will be working and supporting the existing team on best practice and customer solutions. Experience of leading cyber security engagements and workshops with c-suite, decision makers and a non-technical audience. You will have a good exposure and experience of designing solutions using Microsoft sentinel, Palo alto, Trend and other cyber security vendor and solutions (endpoint server and cloud focused firewalls) that would help solve the client’s business need.
Location wise working with the business from several UK locations, liaising with sales (Providing technical assistance), account managers and of course service / operations and delivery to ensure solutions designed (problem solving scopes of work / proposals focusing on security products and services) for customers are 100% mirroring what was designed and needed by the clients. Working collaboratively is key and some of that activity is easier and quicker for all concerned physically F2F. Locations are London, West Yorkshire and Manchester.
The Senior Presales Consultant provides technical assistance to all members of the Sales Team having particular emphasis upon discussions with customers to identify and qualify their requirements to develop quality, comprehensive and winning scopes of work and proposals with a focus on security products and services.
