We have an incredible opportunity for a seasoned Network Engineer to become a key player in our client’s central office based in Warwickshire (WFH 3-4 days p/w). Your Mission: Design, Implement, and Support Transformational Networking Infrastructure

As a Network Engineer on our team, you will be at the forefront of designing, implementing, and supporting a revolutionary networking infrastructure. Your role will encompass Firewall management, routing, switching, remote access, and wireless solutions, all executed with a best-practice and security-focused approach. Responsibilities and Skills: Igniting Change in Every Connection Areas of Responsibility:

• Ensure the day-to-day operation, operating efficiency, and quality control of the network infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot complex network topologies with a focus on timely resolution.
• Provide pre and post-installation support for transformative deployments, be it a new site or a collaboration with a third party.
• Recommend, plan, and implement operational and development upgrades using industry-best methodologies.
• Collaborate closely with 3rd parties and customers to resolve complex technical queries.
• Support and collaborate with other technology teams, lending your expertise to network-related queries.
• Introduce and document new and existing standards at the highest level.

Required Skills:

• Experience in a similar role with a strong emphasis on network support and creative problem-solving.
• Proficient in supporting Juniper Firewalls and Switches, as well as HP/Aruba Switches, covering configuration, management, and troubleshooting.
• Working knowledge of ACL and VPN configuration, management, and troubleshooting.
• Proven routing knowledge, including static and OSPF routing as a minimum.
• Advanced knowledge of virtual Routers/Routing-instances and associated route leaking.
• Familiarity with STP/RSTP configuration and troubleshooting.
• Methodical approach to daily tasks with an ability to lead projects and make impactful decisions.
• Working knowledge of IPAM & NAC tools is advantageous.
• Experience with Scripting tools and languages is highly desirable.
