Your new company
You will be joining a Residential care service that provides person centric care for individuals with Learning, physical and emotional difficulties. Within this role you will be supporting individuals on a 1-1 or 2-1 basis throughout the day with day 2 day tasks and any planned activities for candidates. Your new company is committed to the well-being and comfort of their residents with the ethos of creating their house a home for service users. Currently looking to onboard dedicated and compassionate support worker to join their team! You will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality and enjoyment of life for our individuals. This is done through company attitude towards delivering individualised care and support to promote independence and emotional well-being.
Your new role
Be an inspirational leader and role model, supporting your team of committed care and support workers to always deliver exceptional care Provide a high quality, homely living environment for service users with physical and learning disabilities and behaviours that challenge. They all have big personalities and even bigger ambitions to live life as independently as possible! Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure care plans are followed, whilst seeking to continuously improve quality. Monitor the needs of individuals on a regular basis and, where necessary, liaise with other professionals to find suitable additional services or alternative accommodation when this is indicated. Ensure that the services meet the requirements of CQC, the Local Authority and any other relevant bodies as required Participate in discussions and meetings that relate to the future of the business as a whole What you’ll need to succeed
Uphold company ethos and values throughout the service UK Driving licence Experience and empathy towards the people in our care who have mental health concerns; NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care, Residential Childcare etc. (Already held or willingness to work towards) Candidates must have the right to work within the UK Aged 21 or over Ability to work effectively as part of a team Proven ability to have a positive and sensitive approach when working with young people.
