An iconic garden with an international reputation, this colourful arts and crafts-inspired garden is intricately designed with a variety of outdoor spaces that will fire your imagination. With a recently written Conservation Management Plan and Garden Management Plan, this is an exciting opportunity to help shape Hidcote’s visitor experience strategy for the future. The garden occupies a beautiful rural location in the North Cotswolds, so you are likely to need your own transport to get here.

What you’ll be doing
You’ll work with the Visitor Experience Manager to ensure every aspect of the visitor experience is shaped by our property and delivers an exceptional experience to everyone every time, working closely with all departments. That involves delivering the program of events, with something new each season for our regular visitors and locals, as well as ongoing events and partnerships to inspire our occasional visitors.
You will also manage the Garden Guide volunteers, supporting them in delivering engaging human interpretation, and a team of Events Volunteers who will support delivery of programming and events.
You’ll work with the garden team to understand our spirit of place, ensuring high standards of presentation and service as part of the visitor experience team.
You will be expected to take on regular Duty Management responsibility. Weekend working may be expected.
