A leading Defence client of ours is currently on the market for a Software Engineer with specific knowledge within a Signal Processing environment. Beyond your technical skills, you will be proactive and able to communicate effectively with a variety of internal and external stakeholders. You will work well alone or as part of a team.
Day-to-day duties include
Provide expertise in the development and implementation of DSP algorithms.
Provide timely and accurate estimates for project deliverable and contribute to bids
Provide technical support to customer meetings
Apply and scale engineering processes effectively
Identify and collaborate with all stakeholders
Essential Skills:
R&D experience of algorithm development (communications or sensing)
Understanding of communications and sensing signal processing techniques
Experience of modelling/simulating algorithms
Experience of embedded implementation of algorithms
Desirable Knowledge:
Knowledge of the military communication domain, intelligent sensing and signal processing techniques (relating to communication and intelligent sensing)
Knowledge of other defence disciplines, such as Electronic Warfare, Signals Intelligence, Radar, or GNSS. RPNT (robust positional navigation timing).
