This hybrid role would require you to attend our head office in Bar Hill, Cambridge approximately 1 day a week.
Salary range – £45k-£50k depending upon experience.
About the role
Our Beyond Printer teams develop class-leading, reliable cloud connected solutions that helps our customers manufacture sustainably and reduce waste by utilising our industrial printing expertise and exploiting industry 4.0 technologies such as IoT, automation, and edge controllers.
In this exciting new role, as a key member of the Beyond Printer team, you will be actively involved in the development and implementation of our services and solutions. Working closely with the team, and key stakeholders across the business, you will be creating and maintaining Cloud-connected applications enabling users to interact with, manage and analyse the valuable data from our products. Working within the Kanban framework, you will have the opportunities to shape our future and participate and contribute throughout the product lifecycle, from discovery to delivery.

About you
We are looking for a versatile “full-stack” software engineer with a proven track record in Cloud environments. Our ideal candidate will possess expertise in back-end languages, particularly .NET, and demonstrate advanced proficiency in front-end languages such as HTML5, CSS, C#, and Frameworks. The desired individual should bring hands-on experience and a solid understanding of Web Services, along with practical knowledge of database design and SQL. Additionally, strong troubleshooting and debugging skills are crucial, and familiarity with at least one engineering practice (e.g., TDD, BDD, CI/ CD) is expected.
You should have a history of successfully delivering or supporting web-based software products throughout the entire product life cycle. A keen awareness and appreciation of DevSecOps and Security fundamentals in Product Development are essential, and the ability to showcase competence in version control using Git and GitHub is highly valued.
