EAC are representing a Manufacturing facility based in Milton Keynes who are looking for a Supply Chain Administrator to join the business. You will lead relationships with leading suppliers and manufacturers, ensuring operational excellence and timely availability of materials to meet project timelines consistently. If you have a background within Procurement or Supply Chain then this could be the perfect role for you.
Responsibilities for the Supply Chain Administrator:
- Manage day-to-day operations and relationships with supply chain partners.
- Conduct negotiations on costs and lead times with suppliers.
- Process and manage purchase orders efficiently.
- Ensure materials are readily available for production and installation through the delivery process, including internal communication.
- Oversee in/outbound logistics to optimise the flow of materials.
- Conduct supply chain negotiations, building and maintaining strong relationships.
- Process and fulfill purchase orders, including order validation and placement with relevant suppliers.
- Coordinate with suppliers to track delivery status and advise the warehouse of incoming inventory.
- Manage inbound inventory, including receiving and booking in via the system.
- Make amendments to purchase receipts and ensure accurate reflection on invoicing.
- Manage outbound inventory, recording and documenting stock levels.
- Coordinate outbound distribution, including transportation logistics.
- Ensure accurate and current records in the system.
Ideal Supply Chain Administrator:
- Background in procurement/supply chain logistics.
- Strong administrative abilities with excellent organisational and multitasking skills.
- Ability to stay calm and focused under pressure, consistently meeting deadlines.
- Willingness to challenge the status quo and identify process improvements.
- Demonstrates excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Good IT skills.
- Agile, positive approach to the role.
