We are seeking a Supply Chain Manager with a solid background in the Life Science industry, or regulated environment (FMCG / chemicals), specifically within the Procurement & Supply Chain department. The successful candidate will possess strong leadership abilities and ideally show proficiency in SAP.

Description

  • As the Supply Chain Manager you will oversee scheduling (order placement), customer services, demand planning, import, freight / 3PL management ensuring smooth operations.
  • Implement strategies to enhance performance and productivity within the team, with a objective of managing a growing operation.
  • Optimise the use of SAP for effective resource management and productivity.
  • Support stakeholders to deliver on both customer and company objectives.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers (internal & external)
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
  • Lead and motivate the team to meet operational goals.

Profile

A successful Supply Chain Manager should have:

  • Proven experience in a managerial role within the Life Science (or similar regulated environment) industry.
  • Ideally a proficiency in SAP.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication skills for liaising with stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Good knowledge of industry regulations and compliance requirements.

Job Offer

  • An annual salary of circa £65,000 base (depending on sector experience and overall capability)
