The Role
Position: Teacher of MFL (French and Spanish)
Start Date: November 2024 or January 2025
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated MFL teacher to join our successful Languages department. The ideal candidate will be able to teach both French and Spanish to GCSE level and inspire a love of languages in our students.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging and challenging French and Spanish lessons to students aged 11-16Plan and prepare high-quality lessons that cater to diverse learning needsAssess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedbackContribute to the development of curriculum materials and teaching resourcesParticipate in extracurricular activities and school events
The Ideal Candidate
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalentProven track record of teaching French and Spanish at secondary level – applications from both ECTs or more experienced colleagues are both welcomedStrong subject knowledge and passion for language educationExcellent classroom management and communication skillsCommitment to ongoing professional development
