Software Project Manager
(Essential Technical Skills Required: .Net, RestFUL, SOAP, Javascript)
A formal qualification (Degree) in Computer Science or Software Engineering good to have!
55,000-60,000 + benefits
This role is primarily remote (working from home) with occasional travel to UK offices and customer sites as required.
You will need to be eligible for SC clearance and resided in the UK for a minimum of 3 years
As a global leader in its field, our client requires a Project Manager, fully au fait in SDLC to work with customers in the customisation and deployment of its integrated software solutions.
The post holder will be responsible for coordinating a software deployment team appointed to a project of strategic importance to the company. You will be asked to manage the deployment to a number of customers.
Job Purpose:
Accountable for the development and delivery of the project delivery plan to a strategic customer or number of customers
Accountable for the analysis of a strategic customers business processes and requirements and the subsequent design and implementation of a configured system in line with them.
Liaise with pre-sales, product development, infrastructure, hosting, associated third parties and testing teams in order to manage the development, testing and release of software in accordance with the customer requirements.
Coordinate the planning of the design and installation of the appropriate technical architecture for a solution
Manage the customer testing phases of a project deployment, including SAT and UAT
Responsible for management of the training and deployment plan.
Develop and maintain all project related documentationResponsible for the in-life technical customer relationship plan.Manage the support of the solution once in-life
Manage the issues raised by a customer in relation to a deployed solution
Develop and maintain the documentation relating to business benefits realisation
Identify any new opportunities relating to potential sales opportunities
What you will need:
Experience of managing the delivery of large and complex software solutions to major customers
Background in .Net, RestFUL, SOAP, JavaScript, Azure DevOps would be highly desirable.
Proven experience in managing customer requirements
Proven leadership and motivation of virtual teams
Technical experience sufficient to manage and convey issues relating to complex software issues
Demonstrable experience of project management in a technical environment with a successful track record in product delivery
Knowledge of AGILE Project management principles
