About the Rehoming Animal Telephone Service
Established 40 years ago this year, our core mission remains that we provide love, care and protection for unwanted and abandoned dogs, cats, rabbits and guinea pigs and look for committed, loving homes for our animals.
We have a truly outstanding team of passionate and dedicated volunteers and Board members. We are driven by our values as we focus on achieving our mission and are proud to have supported thousands of animals over the past 40 years.
We are looking for four new Trustees who are passionate, strategic-minded individuals with skills that can benefit the Board of Trustees and our charity to achieve our strategic aims.
What we are looking for:
We are seeking four experienced individuals with a background in any of the following: Human Resources, Legal, Finance or Project Management.
Applicants should also be able to demonstrate the following:
Role Description
A Trustee is required to act reasonably and prudently in all matters relating to the charity and must always act in its best interests. As the Board is responsible and liable for the governance and functioning of the charity, they are accountable in varying degrees to a variety of stakeholders, including service users and funders. The duties of a trustee are likely to include the below:
