An excellent opportunity has arisen to work for an elite sport manufacturer in Reading as a Workshop Assistant, offering an annual salary of £21700 – £36192, dependent on experience. Working hours are Monday – Friday, 7:30AM – 4:00PM

As the Workshop Assistant, you will be responsible for:

• Undertake allocated tasks which assist with the day to day running of the European Service & Repair centre
• Maintenance, cleaning and organisation of the fleet of demonstration boats.
• Operate the daily operation in the stores and dispatch parts orders as received.
• To undertake preparation of repairs to rowing boats

The successful Workshop Assistant will have the following related skills / experience:

• Knowledge of rowing and the basic functions of a rowing boat would be advantageous
• Awareness of Health and Safety in the workshop environment
• Manual handling with heavy lifting
• A great team spirit with the common goal to achieve excellent results
• Trainees from an automotive/body shop/paint sprayer background welcome
